Two’s are my favourite. Pairs. Bookends. I like three’s too. The power of three will set you free. But threes never work out really. 3 is always 2+1. But two is bijou. Desks always seated two. Chairs are only ever for one. In a three piece suite, two singular armchairs float on carpet rug islands. Three is family. The middle seat is yours. But you have nothing to hold on to.
